I wanted to share with the community here my backlit keyboard solution for ASUS N71JQ.

Originally N71JQ does not come with backlit keyboard. I have implemented a hardware solution by myself.

Yes that is possible, but I prefer the touch sensor as with this I have a manual control.

I don't need the backlight to be always on at dark.
When watching for example a movie, I like it turned off.
What would be nice though is to have a dimming function.

^^ a combination of both *g* on off and if on dimm by ambient

The posibilities are endless.

The main thing is to have enough time to invest into them.
Actually the solution I presented here may look complex but it only took me around 3 hours to implement.

My 2.5 weeks vacation are over.
I will see if I have some time to try new thing later this year.
Currently, I have to start preparing for my PhD exam which will be in the next month.
